"Could be fired!" Read the original 1995 Review-Journal article on Kevin McMahill's sordid past

More than a month after Kevin McMahill and a colleague were put on administrative leave by the Las Vegas Metro Police Department for a complaint stemming from the summer of 1995, the Las Vegas Review-Journal broke the story of an investigation into behavior that had the potential to end in his firing.

When reached by the paper, then LVMPD Sgt. Greg McCurdy was succinct in his appraisal of the situation, "They will have to answer for their actions."
