Exclusive: Annie Black's Nevada CD-4 congressional run off to sloppy start; possible FEC VIOLATION
Updated: Jan 3, 2022

As previously confirmed, exclusively, by Political.tips, former Mesquite city council member and current District-19 Nevada Assemblywoman Annie Black will be running for US Congress, with an expected announcement taking place on January 4th at her monthly ATF Happy Hour . However that event, which would count as her official campaign kick off for the CD-4 seat, is leading to questions about Black's readiness to run.
Political.tips can now report that despite not having filed a Statement of Candidacy with the Federal Election Commission, Black's political operatives have officially rolled some of her campaign events and community outreach efforts into the Annie Black for Congress organizational structure.

While a website of the same name appears dormant, an invite for the upcoming Happy Hour is being routed through the Assemblywoman's congressional effort as seen in screen captures below. However, in an early indicator of troubling inconsistency by Black and her team, the US House race is only visible to those making their attendance known through a Google Forms address, while pages allowing for guests to RSVP to other events of hers, along with a WinRed fundraising site, display the finance disclaimer Paid for by Friend of Annie Black.

(The discrepancy between the two invites to Happy Hour events are easily visible in the screen grabs immediately above and below.)
