At an early morning Las Vegas confab with Democrat party luminaries including newly appointed Nevada Lt. Governor Lisa Cano Burkhead, Assemblywoman Rochelle Nguyen, former Assemblywoman Shea Backus, Clark County Planning Commissioner Duy Nguyen, DSA Steering Committee Member Shaun Navarro, and Campaign Whiz Cecia Alvarado, Clark County Commissioner Tick Segerblom and longtime Nevada party operative Tom Edwards found came together to push a message of unity.
"It's time to put this damn divide behind us," an emphatic Edwards opined. "We will beat the GOP if we can finally work together." Segerblom chimed in that the "fighting needed to end."
Posing together for a unity photo, 2022 will be brighter for Nevada Democrats if the rest of the party follows the lead set by Segerblom and Edwards.
