Miami-Dade County just LOST their superintendent. Is CCSD's Dr. Jesus Jara going back south Florida

A stunning development took place in the world of K-12 education when Superintendent Alberto Carvalho of Miami-Dade county is leaving to take over the sprawling Los Angeles Unified school district.

This is certain to set off high level movement across the nation.

A perfect fit for the Miami-Dade opening: Clark County, Nevada's very own Dr. Jesus Jara. Jara, who is closely associated with Florida leaders such as former Governor Jeb Bush and current Senator Rick Scott, is no stranger to the Sunshine state having led the tropical Monroe County school system before moving north to take on an assistant Superintendent role with the large, and diverse, Orange County district.

While nothing has been stated to confirm their interest or his, talks between Miami Dade and those who know Jara are all but guaranteed.
