Dean Heller leads GOP delegation at Reid memorial potentially sealing fate in Republican primary

Howard Stutz of The Nevada Independent captured this candid photo of former Republican torchbearers Senator Dean Heller and Governor Brian Sandoval at the memorial service for Harry Reid.


Their appearances were an honorable display of humanity and decorum for the two GOP throwbacks. However, in choosing civility over campaign optics, Heller may have ended his hopes of becoming Nevada's next governor as an already suspicious primary electorate is sure to look askew at his appearance.
