Exclusive: Two Ukrainian Territorial Defense Force members in Kharkiv cut a deal with Russia. When caught they ran to their FSB handler for help. The result? They were killed by Russian forces
In the end, SBU investigation finds the traitors were executed by Russians forces, while one Ukrainian hero was killed by the turncoats in an attempt to cover up their crimes.
A stunning set of events, including an end result that was foreshadowed by the governor of Kharkiv Oblast, saw tragedy strike a local Territorial Defense Force unit leaving one hero of Ukraine martyred and two traitors dead.
Several weeks ago Oleh Synyehubov, the gun-toting governor of Kharkiv Oblast, was asked a question at a press conference about those Ukrainians who chose to collaborate with the Russian invaders.
Synyenhubov’s response was delivered with stark clarity. According to him, those who flipped to the Russian side were discarded by the occupiers when their usefulness was finished.
His remarks were prescient.
According to sources close to the investigation, the SBU uncovered a plot within a recently formed TDF unit that saw two members pass information to Russian intelligence apparatuses. It was discovered, by accident, when a brave defender of Ukraine stumbled upon them using electronic devices in an inappropriate manner.
A short time later, in an effort to cover up their sabotage, they blew up the hero with ordnance normally used for defensive purposes. This alerted the entire battalion and prompted the aforementioned investigation led by Ukraine’s State Security Services.

When a nighttime announcement was made that all remaining soldiers would have to submit to a polygraph the following morning, the turncoats slipped away and headed toward a Russian encampment.
It was there, with their communications being monitored by Ukraine, that the treacherous actions came into focus.
After surrendering, and being detained by Russia’s Armed Forces, they were allowed a call to their presumed FSB handler, who rejected their entreaties for assistance and indicated to the officer at the camp to dispose of the two Ukrainians as they saw fit.
Later that evening they were executed; their bodies were then dumped in the woods as the invaders left their temporary encampment.
Being that the TDF group at the center of the story had been in operation for a minimal amount of time, little operational damage was done although the senseless death of a fearless soldier left a gaping wound in the souls of his family and fellow patriots.
Investigations are continuing, but it is believed the traitors were acting alone, in hopes of a large payout for future services.
Death to traitors.
Karma for them.
