Press conference by Kharkiv Oblast Governor Oleh Synyehubov illuminates fact that despite rampant Russian terrorism the defenders of Kharkiv are unbreakable
Russian forces are being held at bay as civilian leaders in the region plot pathway toward victory.
During a recent press conference held at the Kharkiv Media Hub, the gun-toting Governor of Kharkiv Oblast, Oleh Synyehubov, revealed staggering numbers which brought into focus the humanitarian crisis that the resilient and resourceful residents of his region are overcoming on their way to victory against the Russian terrorists and Putin’s war criminals.
The statistics the Governor shared, which are accurate as of late July, tell a story of unmitigated disaster.
972 civilians have been murdered by the fascist regime from Moscow, with the youngest being just 7 months old.
More than 4,000 buildings across the city of Kharkiv have been damaged, including nearly two dozen universities, and over 200 schools.
Almost a quarter of a million residents are now without homes in the city, and this tally doesn’t include hundreds of thousands more who have left the area as displaced people or refugees.
Yet, according to Synyehubov, despite these unfathomable totals, the heroic troops defending the Oblast are holding the battles lines to the north, northeast, and east of the city of Kharkiv, refusing to cede any area of consequence to the invading hordes.
