Walking among the brittle reminders of an ongoing genocide against the Ukrainian people and knowing that our spirits were buoyed by the still-fresh news that the US Congress voted to approve Ukraine’s long-awaited $61 billion defense package, I asked if these legendary warriors would mind posing for a picture, one meant to showcase an inseparable partnership, tied together by the unbreakable bonds of liberty and freedom, connecting the United States and Ukraine.
